The Mira Ball is a novel electronic dynamic playing media for picture & word information. It can play words, pictures and cartoons from all countries. As each Mira Ball has been equipped with picture & word management and editing software as well as computer connected data line, the customers can create and change playing items as their pleasure. It can store up to about 15000 Chinese characters or 2000 pictures or tens groups of cartoons. The powerful software and large capability make it possible that the customers may create the playing items to satisfy their needs.
At present, there are four sizes for Mira Ball: 120mm, 200mm, 300mm and 400mm. The customer, who possesses small size of Mira Ball, can input greeting words into the Mira Ball to extend their regards to friends, relatives, colleagues and customers. It also can be used as a considerate holiday gift, an economical and applied business gift, a novel promotion gift and a high-grade meeting gift.
The large size of Mira Ball can be used in propaganda occasions, such as advertisement issuing, product propaganda, large-scale exhibition, promotion in shopping malls and supermarkets, enterprise image propaganda, press releasing meeting, awarding ceremony, wedding or happy event ceremony, and etc.

二. What is the material of Mira Ball? Is it easy to be damaged in the transportation course?

Ball cover: PET environmental protection material, PS plastic
Pedestal: ABS plastic
We adopt foam in the packaging to protect the Mira Ball, and it will go through falling test by natural strength and from 2 meters height, it is not easy to be damaged normally.
Falling from high position due to man-made factors, or placing heavy items on the Mira Ball shall be absolutely avoided.

四. Does the Mira Ball possess patent rights?

After years of continuous development, the Mira Ball manufactured by Zhonghui Company has acquired independent fully intellectual rights, which consist of appearance patent, software copyright, trademark, and etc.

五. It is inconvenient to use as each Mira Ball has an individual ID, can it be cancelled?

For the purpose of preventing pirate and protect intellectual rights, each Mira Ball manufactured before May 1, 2007 was equipped with an individual ID and special CD, which caused troubles to customers in installing software for the Mira Ball. From May 1, 2007, the Zhonghui Company has adopted the following measures to manage the ID of Mira Ball:
1 The ID of each type of Mira Ball will be changed once a month, Mira Ball manufactured in the same month will be equipped with the same ID, they can be used repeatedly after installing the software once.
2. We provide special ID for domestic and overseas VIP customers, the ID will not change in the long run and the software is all-purpose.
This method can prevent customers from repeatedly installing software, and the handling method is simple and easy.

六．The operating method of picture& word management and editing software is just too complicated; can you develop any simple software which is easy to be handled?

As innovation techniques have been adopted for Mira Ball manufactured by Zhonghui Company, the products are able to play batches of words, pictures and cartoons. The customers may also create subject content as well as contents for cartoons, pictures and words. The function is powerful but the operating method of picture& word management and editing software is very complicated, the customers shall read operation manual very carefully before using the software. Those customers who know little about computer will be out of their wits with the software. For the customers’ convenience, we released a new software on May 1, 2007, which is divided into simplified edition and high-grade edition.
Those who have never used this software may choose simplified edition. They can input words and pictures in just one minute. This edition is especially suitable to be uses in the occasions for expediently demonstrating words and pictures inputting for customers.
As for those customers who have fully mastered the picture & word editing techniques and can handle computer skillfully, they may choose the high-grade edition when they have large amount of playing items and need to create multi-subject content.
Note: The installing period for the current edition is 20% less than the previous edition.

七. Can the timing setting of 120mm Mira Ball be cancelled?

Four modes of timing control have been set for 120mm size of Mira Ball: 30 min, 60 min, 120 min and 180 min, they are intended to extend the lives of products and save power energy. From July 1, we will cancel the timing selection function for 120mm Mira Ball upon most of customers’ request. This series of products will automatically stop after being supplied power for 2 hours. The customers may switch on power again.

八.There is no COM serial interface on newly manufactured laptops, how can relative problems be solved? When will the Zhonghui Company manufacture Mira Ball with USB interface?

Currently, COM serial interface has been adopted for the data line of Mira Ball manufactured by Zhonghui Company. Those users who use laptops shall go to the computer market to buy a commutator for USB to COM serial interface according to the instruction specified in the operation manual of the Mira Ball. Before using the commutator, relative drivers shall be installed from the attached CD.
It is estimated that the Zhonghui Company will manufacture USB edition for all Mira Ball after July 1, 2007 to solve relative problems.

九. In order to export, the Mira Ball shall be provided with all safety regulations authentications; and if in case of export to EEC, ROHS authentication is needed, how does the Zhonghui Company deal with these things?

As the power of 120mm and 200mm Mira Ball/Mirror are all supplied by outside switch power adapter, and the actual voltage for the Mira Ball is only DC 6V or 18V, which belongs to safe voltage, the distributor may indicate the distributing country while place an order for Mira Ball and purchase power adapter with authentication of the distributing country to meet the request specified in relative safety regulations, for example: CCC in China Mainland, UL in U.S, CSA in Canada, CE in EEC, Japan and etc. Surely, it will cause the increasing of cost if adapter with relative safety authentication is placed into order.
We are now actively preparing the CE and UL authentications for 300mm and 400mm Mira Ball. We have sent the samples of 120mm and 200mm Mira Ball to ROHS authentication institution for environmental protection authentication. It is estimated that they will pass the authentications at the end of July.

十.Why the “white screen” occurs while the Mira Ball is working? How to solve the problem?

In case the Mira Ball is all white and no picture or word is displaying, the playing information has been lost. It may be incurred by abnormal turnoff or inconstant power supply. In such case, the user may connect the Mira Ball with computer and click “ Go Back to Manufacturing Setting” or “ Retrieve Appointed Information”, the computer will automatically transmit lost date to the Mira Ball. Turn on the Mira Ball again after the transmission is completed, the display of Mira Ball will be normal again.

十一. Can pictures in the digital camera or other pictures be sent to the Mira Ball to display? Are there any special requirements for playing pictures?

The Mira Ball has specific requirements to the format of picture, so the pictures taken by digital camera or downloaded from internet and picture galleries can not be directly edited by picture & word editing software. The procedures for making picture & word suitable for playing by the Mira Ball are not complicated and as follows:
1.The user may download pictures from internet, select pictures from CD galleries, scan pictures from newspapers or books by scanner, or draw pictures by plane design software.
2.Convert the format of acquired pictures to *.bmp.
3.Set the height of picture to required specification by plane software such as Corldraw\photoshop, e.g. the height specification of ZH120C34 series Mira Ball is 32 pixels, the height specification of ZH120C26 series is 24 pixels, the height specification of ZH200 series is 32 pixels, and the height specification of ZH300 series is 48 pixels.
4.Fill the picture with color by plane design software, the single-color picture can only be filled by white or black color, the background of picture shall be filled by white while the picture shall be filled by black. The colored picture can be filled by red/green/blue/yellow/purple/cyan/white/black; the background of picture shall be filled by black and the picture can be filled by other seven colors.
After the procedures above are completed, the user can get a picture file which can be edited by the Mira Ball

十二. Can the music be changed by user freely?

At present, the music in the Mira Ball is fixed and can not be changed by user. In case that the orders for a certain product is over 1000, the user may require the company to purchase special music chip to assembly Mira Ball with specific music. When the company is able to manufacture voice downloading edition of Mira Ball, the user can edit music or voice file freely.

十三. If assessed with high standard, for all Mira Ball manufactured by the Zhonghui Company, the color brightness of a certain area is uneven, is it normal?

First, the evenness of LED color brightness is subject to the manufacturing techniques. While allocating the LED display board, the welding direction shall be oriented after 8 LED have been welded due to the restriction of manufacturing techniques. And accordingly, sidelines with variant colors will emerge between the blue and red LED lamps over-densely or over-sparsely. Currently, no settlement of this problem has been acquired. Second, the cost of components is another reason affected the evenness of LED color brightness, in case the customer who needs high standard color is willing to increase purchasing price of Mira Ball, we can manufacture Mira Ball with more even colors for the customer specially.

十四. How long is the lifespan of Mira Ball/Mirror?

The lifespan of Mira Ball/Mirror is related to the working principle of motor which drives the Mira Ball/Mirror to rotate. As the Mira Ball with a diameter of 200mm, 300mm or 400mm and the Mira Mirror with a diameter of 300mm are driven by brushless motor; their lifespan can reach 15,000 hours, which is the same as common home appliance. As for the 120mm Mira Ball which adopts motor with brush to drive, the lifespan is about 2000-3000 hours. If it is used 8 hours a day, its lifespan is about 1 year.

十五. Is it normal that the Mira Ball gives out noise and vibrates when it is used under quiet circumstance?

As there is a motor inside the Mira Ball to drive the display circuit to rotate with a high speed, it is normal that the Mira Ball gives out noisy and vibrates when it is being used. In most of occasions, the use will not become aware of the noise and vibration as the environmental noise is much higher than the noise given out by the Mira Ball. While inspecting the product quality, the inspector will place the Mira Ball in a quiet room and the distance between the inspector and the Mira Ball is 50cm. When the Mira Ball is working, the noise it gives out shall not affect the inspector’s reading, otherwise its assembly shall be regarded as inaccurate and it will be returned to the manufacture to repair.

十六. Why it warns that the communication is overtime when the user transmits information to the Mira Ball? What will cause the failure of transmitting information to the Mira Ball?

The following will cause the overtime of communication:
1 The customer fails to transmit information in accordance with transmitting steps specified in the operation manual. Please read the operation manual carefully and then transmit information in a correct way.
2 The user has transmitted information too frequent. Please cut the power off and re-operate 5 min later. If the cases above are excluded, there must be something wrong with the circuit components, and the Mira Ball shall be returned the manufacturer to repair.
