ZH-300 orZH-400 Remote Miraball Use Manual 1.Attention ※ This book is useful for,ZH300C48,ZH400C56. ※ For use, place the mira ball stably on a horizontal place so as to be avoid dropping thus broken. ※ Avoid placing the mira ball in an area of strong light otherwise the picture of the screen is not clearly visible. ※ In case that the picture or text displayed on the mira ball is defective, unload the related information from the computer to renew the memory of the mira ball. ※ If the picture displayed flashes seriously, low voltage to the mira ball is meant. The cause may be low voltage of the municipal power network . For instant, only 220V is available for the mira ball ,while the power supply voltage is only 110V. ※ When the mira ball is in use for long time, its surface would be slightly hot. This is normal. ※ After being switched off, the mira ball should be switched on again only after 30 seconds, otherwise the mira ball might not display correctly. ※ There would be some difference in color and luminosity between different LEDs. This is normal. ※ If the mira ball cannot display pictures correctly, this means that the file stored in the mira ball is lost. Please download again . ※ Miraball ball cover can assemble a sum by self take down. 4.Basical principle Mira Ball is a novel electronic playout device of dynamic video text. On Mira Ball, a low noise long life electric motor drives a high brightness linear array LED lamps into high speed rotation, a microprocessor in the Ball commands the linear array to come on or go off at specified points in its pathway according to the programmed timing, hence the video text stored in the Ball seems to be played out in a 360o rolling mode because of the inertia of people's vision. In comparison with the conventional unidirectional planar play out units presently available in the market, Mira Ball is unique because of its 360o visible angle and bright color pictures, thus is a frontier-most medium for advertisement information, and an ornament for atmosphere adding-in and environment decoration. As an exceptional electronic gift, Mira Ball is usable for both small firms and big companies for introducing their products and merchandises as well as for displaying their trademarks. The information stored in Mira Ball may be modified at will.
5.Foctory setting Storage capacity of the mira ball is high as 1、Hundreds of photos in 32/48/56（mono-chromatic） 2、500 written messages in 15 subjects, totaling 15000 Chinese characters(including punctuations) 3、 30 color cartoons of 32/48/56; As set in the factory, playout sequence of the subjects is: one cartoon, photos, then one written massage under the subject; then the sequence is repeated cyclically. 6.Key function With the mira ball switched on, the motor runs and the mira ball displays a number of color rings. Seven seconds later, the mira ball will play out the contents set by the factory. On the surface of the base of the mira ball, 4 control keys are provided (Fig.2). Their functions are respectively: 1、Playout speed select key 2、Subject select key 3、Fast forward key 4、This key is for recycling the user`s favourite content. Press it (the first time), recycle current content. Press it again(the second time), return to the original play model.  7.Software in breif If you want to edit a new file and make new information, you should first install the files stored in the optical disk supplied with the mira ball, Functions of the software include: Editing and storage of photo and text; cartoon editing; arrangement of file playout sequence; revision, preview and categorized storage of file; upload/download of information for mira ball, etc. With the support by the software, the user may make revision and replacement at will, and download the newest delicate photos to the mira ball. For detail of the editing software, see section service instruction of mira ball picture & character management software. Files saved in the CD is as following: 1.ball_pit file, it includes files: C_XX (pictures and animations); how to create 2.BMP pictures (both Chinese and English); Service Instructions for .ZH 2.Chinese setup 3.English setup 4.Autorun.inf Written information and typeface Any language entering is available as long as the word stock have been installed in user's computer. After inputting written information to the mira ball management software, you may edit it by choosing desired typeface, character size and color, then download it to the mira ball for playout.
Photo/cartoon Photos: The user may search for photos needed from web sites, the CD. Then use the drafting software in windows operating system to tailor them into specified size, recolor them, save them in BMP photo format and finally download them to the mira ball for broadcasting after processed by the mira ball software. Please read the article named how to create BMP picture which was saved in the CD. Cartoon: The user may use drafting software to finish a set of cartoon pictures, then use the software to convert the cartoon pictures into special format used for the mira ball. Then they move up for a few distance and stop. There are several led lights keep being on. That means mira ball was wire up and transmitting is available .Users should opened the software, select the file and click "transmit to mira ball " button. Then the old file is being replaced. 8 LED lamps in the upper row will light up steadily, and then in groups of 2, all LED lamps will flash one after another from bottom to top of the array, indicating that the new file is taking place of the old one. When file transmission ends, the LED lamps stop moving and remain steadily light-up, and the interface of the mira ball editing software in the personal computer will also hint that file transmission is finished.  Note: Each time a file is downloaded to the mira ball, the downloaded new file will cover the old file, and what displayed will be the newly downloaded file. If the playing files of the Mira ball are lost, please click Restoring the File to transfer the lost files back to the Mira ball to play. If you want to revise the playout content of the mira ball, you may use the mira editing management software to add new content in , delete old content from or adjust sequence of the original file.
